ACEplus Speaking & Soft Skills

ACEplus is a new, exciting, interactive, and dynamic app. A-C-E is an acronym for Achieve, Confidence, English.

Achieve: For a learner to Achieve, he or she needs to have the necessary thinking, emotional, and social ‘life skills’ to be aware of what is happening around them, and know how to handle themselves in day-to-day situations.

Confidence: To be successful, the learner needs to be confident. To be confident, they need to have belief in themselves and their capabilities. And to have that belief, they must be able to interact positively and confidently with others.

English: Without going into the technicalities of English grammar, the learner is guided through numerous vocabulary-building games and pronunciation exercises to help them speak correct and better English.

This new app teaches the student to Achieve necessary life skills and be more Confident while communicating in English.

This platform helps the student develop 5 key 21st-century success skills:
i. Life Skills, ii. Cognitive Skills, iii. Spoken English Skills, iv. Interpersonal Skills, v. Communication Skills.

The courses have been created with the intent of teaching skill sets that are generally beyond the syllabus taught in schools. They are not age-specific. But are ideally for students aged 8 to 18.

ACEPlus uses the hybrid model of teaching. So, the student gets the best of both worlds. This is done through the use of friendly and interactive videos, scientifically-crafted exercises, and colourful learning-based games, reinforced by LIVE feedback sessions by specially trained skill coaches.

The App is divided into 6 major sections:
i. Guru Speak
In this section, ACE achievers share their personal experiences on how to achieve success and be more confident.

ii. Learning Zone
Comprises three courses: Beginner, Advanced, and Expert. Each course comprises 5 self-paced capsules. After each capsule, the student gets to attend an interactive feedback session on Zoom with a specialised skill coach.

iii. Spoken English
Comprises, at present, a stand-alone course, comprising ten capsules, titled - How to Speak Better English with Derek. In this course, Derek O’Brien teaches the students phonetics, the correct pronunciation of words and sentences, and how to speak correctly and communicate with confidence.

iv. Gaming Zone
Comprises specially crafted knowledge, logic, memory enhancement, vocabulary-building, and problem-solving games, packaged in a fun and interactive way.

v. Self-Growth
It is a compilation of audio motivational stories, the correct pronunciation of words, the difference between British and American pronunciation, decision-making and critical thinking scenarios, etc.

vi. ACEplus Dictionary
A ready reckoner of all the difficult words that appear in the app, along with their meanings
