Advent & St Andrew Chaplet

Advent marks the beginning of the Liturgical Year. To signify this season, an Advent wreath of candles is lit on the four Sundays of Advent, leading up to Christmas Eve. This app provides a virtual Advent wreath of candles encapsulating this process. In addition to the lighting of candles, Bible Verses are included to remind and inspire each of us about the meaning behind the Christmas Season.

A countdown to the first Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve is also included. Behind the countdown is a space for the user to add a message for reflection during this season.

In addition, a common Christmas Novena, St Andrew Chaplet is provided. This is a prayer that is recited each day, starting on St Andrew’s Feast Day until Christmas Eve. 

As a bonus, a Bible, Douay Rheims Version, is included with this app.
