The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents 30,000 members in over 200 chapters in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and China working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Toronto Chapter is one of the largest chapters in Canada with over 1,000 members and is the fourth-largest AFP Chapter in North America.

The AFP Greater Toronto Chapter serves professional fundraisers in their continuing education through regular Chapter education events and resources, a member mentorship program, newsletters and networking opportunities, and through annual conferences, Fundraising Day and Congress. The Chapter also provides professional accreditation, Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE). The AFP Greater Toronto Chapter works to promote the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice and Donor Bill of Rights.
