App Store Description

Agent PL is an application is an application with Augmented Reality elements, which through gamification is supposed to reveal to the user the history of Poles in Morocco.

It is an application with historical content commemorating and popularizing the figure of Mieczyslaw Slowikowski, who led the Polish intelligence network in North Africa during World War II. His actions significantly contributed to the victory of the Allied forces during Operation Torch. The app aims to restore the memory of Mieczyslaw Slowikowski by presenting historical scenes in "augmented reality" in real locations where key intelligence operations for Torch took place in North Africa.

In the app, the user takes on the role of an Intelligence Agent in1940. Similar to the famous Pokémon, he searches for information and intelligence tasks in real locations in Morocco. The app tracks the user's location, and when he or she is in one of 100 points marked as historically important sends specific information, directs to more places, sends intelligence tasks, quizzes and historical scenes. The agent first receives instructions from the Intelligence Headquarters, but also tasks, reports and sends messages to the base Intelligence tasks depend on the location.

In addition, in 35 points in Morocco, in historical restaurants, hotels, or historically important points, we have placed postcards with qr codes which, when scanned, show hidden information about our "game." This refers to the encryption and decryption of information during World War II by intelligence agents.

The application does not require logging in, does not collect personal data, and does not contain ads or payments. Requests to grant access to the location are only needed to follow the historical facts hidden in Augmented Reality in real places in Morocco. Access to the camera is only required to scan and decode QR codes.
