The AMS is a Honeywell Airport Facility Management System linking different technical subsystems (Subcentrals , SC) of the Airport and the Central Airport Database (CDB) into one open integrated system for administration of the airports availability.
Managing all the airport technical facilities is the primary functional requirement of the AMS system.
The mobile application allows to interact with the AMS functions and AMS points according to their related privileges ( MMI Access, Segregation) and the AMS system configuration.
The interaction focuses on incident management allowing to consult a listing with current incidents and register feedback for incidents.
One of the AMS's main functionality as a facility management system is the ability to trace all information exchange between different users. This is achieved through a special document handling allowing the information exchange between users working on the same incident at different sites and/or at different times.
