We love Alameda! We host local lectures and walking tours, and annually host a fundraising Alameda Legacy Home Tour, highlighting our historic homes and neighborhoods. Our city is rich with Victorian and Arts and Crafts houses and buildings. Over 1800 are State or National Register eligible buildings. With this app, we introduce you to some of our historic buildings and neighborhoods through self-guided walking tours. Even if you cannot physically walk a tour, the narrated audio portion gives a wealth of information and has relevant pictures throughout.
Some of our tours are offered as a member benefit or as an addition to an in home tour, and may require a code to retrieve; others are used without a code.
