Alberta Wildflowers

This App, which operates without an internet connection, helps find and identify plants. When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections.

The App includes 2,218 species of plants found in Alberta. Overall, 1,081 are "Wildflowers", 146 are shrubs, 51 are broadleaf trees, 23 are conifers, 8 are vines, 356 are grass-like, 69 are fern-like, 253 are moss-like, and 287 are lichen.
