The Sagarmala ALHW Field based mobile application help the Ministry to automate the process of capturing the inputs and progress of a project from different project proponents. Projects are being implemented by different Central Ministries, different departments in State, Government of Coastal States, Port Authorities and other agencies. Parameters related to the physical progress of the projects, delays in project implementation, tracking of bottlenecks in project implementation, requisite approvals needing attention of the Ministry of Shipping is constantly monitored through this ALHW Field Application. Location based tracking of work progress at project site facilitated by geofencing and geotagging is the key feature of this mobile application .
