The premise behind the diet is that humans should eat foods that don't require any technology to produce, which exempts most grains and dairy foods from the eating plan. The diet is quite restrictive and even dictates what kinds of beverages you're allowed to consume. Always talk to your doctor before starting the Paleo Diet to be sure it's healthy and right for you. Once you get approval from your physician, you'll be limited to just a few drink options.
