AlloyCalculator allows you to conveniently calculate:

- Molar mass,

- Molar amount (by given total mass of the alloy),

- Atomic percentages and mass percentages of elements in an alloy,

- Mass share of respective pure elements (+ pre-alloy)

for any freely chosen alloy or chemical formula.

The alloy/ formula is easily set up by picking the elements directly from the periodic table. Elements, indices and desired mass can be separately typed and changed at any time.

AlloyCalculator is especially tailored for scientists (in lab or in office) that want to know the masses of pure elements which are required in order to end up with a specific alloy (stoichiometry) after melting everything together. This is a common problem and thus an often performed calculation.

The strength of AlloyCalculator is its data base allowing for the rapid change of elements and ratios without wasting time on separate calculations only covering special cases.
Furthermore, AlloyCalculator is capable to deal with pre-alloys that are due to procedural reasons (melting point, intermetallic phases) sometimes preferred over the pure elements.
AlloyCalculator supports evaporating species.

Recently the 'Interactive PTE' was added. Make AlloyCalculator your mobile periodic table. It presents 7 quantities in an unique, color coded design:

- Molar mass

- Element number

- Vapor pressure

- Melting temperature

- Electronegativity

- Electron configuration

- Atomic radius in crystal environment



Please note:

- There is a reasonable limit of max. 5 elements for the alloy
(& max. 5 elements for the pre-alloy).

- Accuracy and logic of the program is often and carefully tested providing a very high reliability to the user. Updates will further ensure this to be a lasting value.
