Animal Crackers is the brand new magazine by children for children from Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in London, UK.
Meet our team of reporters and tell us if you’d like to get involved. We have interviews with the stars of Horrible Histories and the actor who’s the voice of Mummy Pig. Joe tells us about his carer Jules getting nutmegged by Harry Kane. And look at how much fun Pirate Day was!
Animal Crackers is here to give all Noah’s Ark children a voice. For children who don’t write or read, the videos and pictures are the most fun. In the app, words, videos and pictures all come together in one place.
In this issue you'll find:
When Joe blocked a Harry Kane goal – what’s it like to have a Spurs and England star knocking at your front door?
It’s Mummy Pig – We talk sparkly shoes and pigs in space with the voice of Peppa’s mum
All at sea – Crocodiles group become pirates for the day – find out more
Horrible Histories special – Harriet the Hippo meets the show’s stars at White Hart Lane
Reviews – What you’re reading and listening to right now
Sport page – All the Noah’s Ark action
About Noah's Ark Hospice:
We provide “hospice at home” care, for Central, North London and Hertsmere children, with bespoke support packages for each family.
Volunteers provide an extra 20,000 hours a year of support. However, we are meeting just one-tenth of the need, and less than 10 per cent of our income is available from the NHS. Our fundraising team is working hard to enable the expansion of community-based services, and complete our circle of care with a dedicated hospice.
At the heart of our success is the support of our communities in Islington, Camden, Barnet, Haringey, Enfield and Hertsmere.
We’re delighted to have entered into a two-year charity partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
