About the Authors:
Adam Stevens graduated from Columbia University with a BA in history in 1996 and has taught history in Brooklyn public high schools since then. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Helena, and is lucky to have three wonderful children, Omar, Alex and Iliana.

Sean McManamon has a MA in History from Hunter College, 1998. He teaches AP World History at Brooklyn Technical High School and lives in Manhattan with his wife, Justine, and two children, Phebe and Owen.
