APCON 2024

Greetings from the Land of Lord Jagannath.

Once again, I take this opportunity of inviting you to APCON 2024: the 72nd Annual conference of Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists. Odisha Pathology Society with SCB Medical College, Cuttack are privileged to host this prestigious event from 11th-15th December 2024. Since the early bird registration for APCON 2024 started in APCON Delhi, we are getting a very good response from the members of our association. That has encouraged and motivated us to extend the date of early bird registration up to 31st March 2024. Honorary secretary, IAPM is getting ready with the scientific programme in collaboration with the academic committee members. Like all the members, I’m also sure that this is going to be an excellent amalgamation of knowledge, skills, hands on and newer diagnostic methods with updates on classification and reporting formats.

Our organising team have started working hard and planning not to leave any stone unturned to make this APCON 2024 a memorable and wonderful conference. I suggest the members to keep browsing our website www.iapm.org.in frequently to learn about the topics of CMEs/ symposia so that they can access the names and contact details of the moderators and become a part of the academic extravaganza at SCB MCH, Cuttack. Odisha, a beautiful place for tourists with it’s rich cultural heritage has lots for your eyes and brain. I suggest you to come with extra two-three days planning so that we will get the opportunity to move you around the famous Jagannath temple and other landmarks. Cuttack, the silver city is known for it’s world famous intricate silver filigree designs and the hand woven beautiful and traditional sambalpuri silk sarees. Don’t forget to pick up a few for yourself and your spouse/ near and dear ones.
