Apo - Health Companion

APO is this little character, who will never replace your doctor, but who offers to be your companion, your assistant for:

- Saving information relating to your or your child's pathology(migraine, pain of the non -communicating child, etc.),
- Knowing how your disease evolves in one look, thanks to the synthetic analysis made automatically and searchable in the mobile app
- Sharing clear and precise information with the care team, thanks to the "doctor report” (pdf) listing key monitoring indicators.


APO was developed by a patient, hospital doctors, a team of experienced developers, and with the support of scientific societies (such as the French Society for the study and treatment of pain) and patient associations.


The APO application allows you to :

1. Record a migraine attack or a pain episode in less than 30 seconds;

2. Consult the analysis of the data entered and share a synthetic report with your doctor for a more effective consultation:
- before the medical appointment: quickly record the attacks (migraine or painful episodes) and let APO do the analysis and synthesis of all recordings.
- During the medical appointment: You and your doctor have in your hands the report presenting synthetically the evolution of your pathology since the last appointment. Consultation time can now be used to ask questions to better understand your disease and above all weigh the pros and cons of potential therapeutic approaches.
- After the medical appointment: update your profile in the app, with your new prescription for acute or preventive treatments. You will be able to compare treatment responses in between consultations.

3. Better understand your disease, with therapeutic education : APO posts regularly selected articles on new research findings. APO also shares content or redirects you to information gold mines to take control of your or your child's pathology.

4. Personalize your application and become one of the main actors of your care journey: everyone lives his disease in his own way, the APO application is therefore configurable to respect as much as possible the way you intend to follow your or your child's disease.

Migraine is a chronic disease that can isolate, strongly impact the quality of life or even make you lose hope. With APO, simply regain control over your migraine.

Pain is responsible for a global decrease in quality of life, because it impacts all areas (sleep, food, communication, daily activities, sociability, etc.). In children and young adults with communication difficulties as in autistic or psychic disorders, intellectual disabilities and polyhandicap, in practice, the consequences of pain (modification of sleep, mood, aggravation of 'Epilepsy or behavioral disorders) often act as alerting signs and can bring parents and caregivers to question the presence of pain or its cause. It is therefore important to detect and evaluate it. The ultimate goal is obviously to better take care of pain in the children and young adults with communication difficulties.

APO communicates with Apple's Health application to obtain the latest records relating to your sleep, and offer you an ever thinner analysis of your disease and its triggers.
