AquaGranda, a Digital Community Memory

This App is a companion piece to the virtual exhibition of the AquaGranda project.

AquaGranda documents the city’s response to the exceptional high tides of November 12 and 13, 2019. It was born from the conversations circulated those days on social networks and shared by the inhabitants of the lagoon, giving testimony to the perseverance they are known for. You can now navigate these collected memories thanks to this diffuse and virtual exhibition, which pays tribute to the Venetians who lived those fateful days and which safeguards their experiences for the future.
