The AR Cité project (pronounced ‘our city’) aims to bring together Dawson College students, faculty and industry professionals to research, design and create pedagogical resources using Augmented Reality.
The media created will help to bring the neighborhood's culture and local history to life through an engaging app for mobile devices.
Students involved in the development process will learn a wide range of valuable cutting-edge skills by researching, designing, producing and publishing short AR media vignettes into a free app available in both English and in French.
Many more students will benefit from using the AR Cité mobile app to learn about our local heritage and the diverse peoples who inhabit the spaces around us.
