AR Van

Argumentative Reality AR Van is an augmented reality (AR) art project designed for exhibitions, offering a thought-provoking experience that reenacts a vehicular accident linked to human trafficking. Through digital reconstruction and artistic interpretation, it raises awareness of this critical issue, fostering reflection and dialogue.

This non-commercial project utilizes AR to transform exhibition spaces into immersive storytelling environments. Gallery visitors interact with the digital animation using mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones, exploring its features by following a speeding van on the highway, visually inspecting its cargo, and revealing hidden stowaways within the van’s cargo space. The AR experience is anchored in the real world using a QR code-type marker placed on the surface of a table, ensuring precise positioning and seamless interaction.
