AR-Vision is an on-campus navigation utility mobile application used by prospective students to get well versed with the campus. AR-Vision can be used in two modes.
"Map Mode" (default mode) allows the user to use Google maps to navigate to the chosen point of interest. The points of interest are marked on Google Maps. Clicking on the point of interest displays textual information about the chosen point of interest.
"AR Mode" can be accessed from the "Map Mode" by clicking the "Enter AR Mode" button. This mode opens a camera view and uses augmented reality to display the points of interest overlayed on the camera view. As the user pans and moves the points of interest are automatically updated along with the distance to the point of interest. In the AR Mode, it is required that the user is withing 1.5KM radius for the nearest point of interest for it to be displayed.
