ARDOS Viewer

The ARDOS Viewer is an XML / SGML viewer, capable to display maintenance technical publication of the aviation industry standards. The ARDOS Viewer allows to view maintenance documents such as CMM (component maintenance manuals), ACMM (abbreviated component maintenance manuals), UM (user manuals), OSMM (operation an system maintenance manuals), CLM (cargo loading manuals), SB (service bulletin) and SIL (service information letters in accordance with ATA iSpec2200.

The viewer supports / allows:
- download documents from external repository to the iPad repository
- supports SGML instances
- supports graphic display (CGM)
- supports handling of multiple effectivities

- navigation through the manuals via bookmarks, hyperlinks and hotspots
- navigation from the text into the graphic (hotspot)
- navigation from the graphic into the text
- filtering of the content (effectivities, part numbers)

SGML and XML instances need to be published through the ARDOS Live SGML viewer (publishing engine, desktop version) before viewing it on the mobile device / iPad. Additionally the access to the external repository requires an user ID and password. Users who have already licensed the desktop version are able to prepare their documents for use with the ARDOS Viewer for iPad.
