Articulate C,K,G Lite

This is a sampler version of Articulate C,K,G. It's a great clinical tool for a speech therapist, but it can also be used by parents to help their children practice the /k/ and /g/ or “velar" phonemes. This app is also useful for English language learners. The full version app consists of 145 images with optional spoken words and text, providing velar phoneme work through auditory bombardment or flashcard drilling. A fun and visually appealing matching game keeps users motivated to practice their articulation while they play.


Articulate C,K,G was created by an ASHA certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. It is suitable for those who omit velars or use the phonological process of velar fronting. The app may also be useful to address the phonological processes of initial consonant deletion, final consonant deletion, weak syllable deletion and cluster simplification.
