The ArtShaker app also gives you interesting background information about artists and the most important styles in 20th-century art. It also contains all 27 questions and answers from the best-selling book “What is art?”, published in 2012 by the Fondation Beyeler.

The Fondation Beyeler, Switzerland’s most visited art museum, stages regular exhibitions and offers a wide program of accompanying events, including guided tours, conversations with artists, concerts, and workshops. Founded by art dealer Ernst Beyeler and designed by star architect Renzo Piano with the mission to bring art closer to the people, the Fondation Beyeler houses an outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art with works by artists such as van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Rothko and Warhol.

The project is sponsored by “UBS – Partner of art education for families and young people”.
