Membership Directory


Find and connect directly with community members either in a group setting or by private message. Often, members need to communicate with someone in a similar role and quickly gain particular insights to take back to their department. This feature becomes useful as you do not have to carry out a friend request or make any further connections for your message to be delivered.

Breakout Discussion Rooms


We have a breakout room for every category of assistant practitioners on the platform. This means that you can focus on starting or joining particular conversations appropriate to your area of work. With a lack of distractions from all other groups, you can advance the conversations by discussing and finding solutions for your specific challenges.

Support Groups


In addition to the breakout discussion rooms, you can form support groups with your immediate department colleagues and managers along with other assistant practitioners across the country. This is where you have full control to create an unlimited number of groups around ideas you would like to develop or problems you would like to solve. You can use this feature as an educational tool to discuss specific practices, demonstrate what's possible within your role or reflect upon practice. Supports groups give you the option keep your conversation private to members-only.

The assistant practitioners app puts you at the centre of the conversation, and this is an upgrade to the recent forums we have run throughout the years. In the community, you will find strong advocates for the assistant practitioners role who are university lecturers, course leaders, mentors and others. These high-level decision-makers can take the actions necessary for pathway progression, role standardisation, role recognition and other similar issues faced by the community.

Speak-UP Surveys


Our expert partners are always interested in pooled knowledge of assistant practitioners. Over the years, we have seen where consultations, surveys and reviews missed the mark by not speaking directly to assistant practitioners and their unique issues. This feature was created to run national-level surveys where you finally get to speak up and have your say.

Content Hub


Our most valuable content are reserved for the community hub, where you will be able to access this all year round. Currently, you can access recordings from the previous conference as well as magazine publications. Our premium users will also have the opportunity to be featured in more expansive publications such as community nursing magazines and more.

UpVote Feature


Assistant practitioners can find it challenging to access relevant CPD training. The upvote feature was set up to address this issue where sufficient numbers or quantity of interest are needed to bring about implementation. This feature could also be used to implement assistant practitioners awareness days and to bridge other gaps within the profession that have been neglected over the years.

We are slowly building up the resources and talent pool to offer regular seminars, workplace advice, and mentorship within the community. As a premium member, you will be able to access this when it becomes available. Also, the App is new but we are dedicated to updating it each week with new information to inspire your career.
