The Middle East Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) was inaugurated on September 15, 1982 in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The Chapter's territory covers Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Oman. The current Chapter membership is approximately 320. In pursuance to its goals and objectives, the Society has been organizing international conferences, technical meetings, and training programs, making it one of the most active professional organizations. ASSP MC is looking forward to outreach activities and achieving greater heights in the years to come.
