The AVID Assistant is the iOS app that automates all of the "arithmetic steps" for Squadron Strike. It synchronizes game state across a back-end database, and continually updates bearings and displays them on your device.
In addition to those features, it also walks everyone through the Sequence of Play, making it harder to miss steps while you're planning your 3D maneuvers with spaceships!
The software package is a game aid utility, not a stand-alone game. You will need a copy of Squadron Strike to play and a place to set up the maps and box miniatures.
