Offshore vibration isolation
This app is specifically developed to dimension an anti-vibration mount (AVM) with Vibratec’s all-metal elastic elements. Simply enter the static load to be applied on the AVM and the rotational speed of the equipment mounted on top of the AVM.
The “AVM-tool” app will then show you the insertion loss, resonance frequency, deflection and needed dimensions.

The app does not adjust for varying rigidity in skid and deck. The problem of vibration isolation is normally com­plex offshore and Vibratec Akustikprodukter can design Anti-Vibration Mounts (AVM’s) taking all known parameters into account to customize the AVM’s to the specific demands of the project. In addition to the vibration isolation features the AVM’s are designed to withstand forces due to different limit states.

Typical applications are:
- Turbo-compressor sets and generator sets
- Accommodation or office modules
- Crane boom rest cradles
- Pumps
