BabyDecoder "listen to what your baby is "crying" to say!"

The Baby Decoder application is a tool to analyse the cry of newborns, that may be related with five common complaints: Hunger, Burping need, Sleepy (hard to get sleep or to wake up from nap), discomfort (pain) and lower gas. The application receives as input a sound (of baby crying), performs some calculations (measuring the similarity between the input sound and our database patterns types of cry) and provides to the user feedback about the type of cry which could be related. This tool can help you to know what your baby needs are and to get a fast and accurate response to them. Empowers parental capabilities and confidence. This tool should be used exclusively with sounds of newborn crying.

To use this application is very easy. Parents should click in the microphone button in order to start the process. The application will listen to the environment sound for a while and then analyse it and try to identify the possible type of crying. Due to certain environment conditions the application could or could not identify the type of crying with good accuracy. Note that for best results the application should be used in an environment with low noise.
