Bamburi-RMX is a mobile application developed to assist the Ready-Mix division of Bamburi Special Products Ltd automate certain tasks involving the inspection of a Ready-Mix Concrete customer site. The app replaces the paper inspection checklist which is currently shared with the drivers through social media chat and also act as a repository for any photos and images taken from the customer site. The app then suggests best routes to use on available maps for the drivers to navigate to the customer site while identifying any potential hazards on the prescribed routes and also any emergency amenities available. This then also serves a repository for the site inspections for verification that the site inspections did indeed take place.
