The Bank of Me app has been developed with input from a range of industry experts – drawn from the fields of psychology, health & wellbeing, sports, business and fitness. It provides users with a simple, clear set of strategies to build up and protect their levels of emotional and physical wellbeing, their focus and motivation and their connection and productivity. It’s built by people who work, for people that work – the nudges and content relate directly to the challenges we all face in our professional lives. It all starts with a Monday morning check in that asks nine simple questions to help establish what the week ahead is going to look like.
It’s then followed by a personalised set of action choices that directly support individual improvements and help build better strategies for managing ourselves in the world of work. Driven by simple, clear metrics, and packed full of content from leading thinkers, the app is the equivalent of having a coach in your pocket. On that note, you also have the ability to choose a virtual Bank of Me coach that keeps you engaged with regular nudges and ideas that fit your personal focus.
The app allows you to track six metrics as you progress – emotional, physical, focus, personal growth, motivation and inclusion. With these, users of the Bank of Me can spot drops quickly and, with the help of the app’s content, build in new, practical ways to rebuild those stats. Between the Bank of Me system and your personal digital coach, you will get a wealth of support that is directly targeted at your lowest metrics. It’s akin to having a dedicated person that understands the mood you’re in, and the levels of energy you have - and gives you really clear, solid advice around how to move forward, to connect with people, to feel better and to take more ownership for the ways in which the wider word impacts your ability to focus and be productive.
The design and development of the app and content has been underpinned by years of research by the creators - working with people in organisations of every shape and size, in dozens of countries and at every level of management - from the critical front-line workers up to C-level board members.
The Bank of Me is designed to be a ‘in your pocket’ advisor that adds value through small interventions. It won’t take your time, it won’t intrude and it won’t fill your screen with ads. But it will help you build up your personal ‘bank balance’ and ensure you are in good shape to face the world ahead.
