BasKita

BasKita is a mobile application which is able to track the location of shuttle buses within the UKM Bangi campus. The purpose of BasKita is to encourage and improve the ridership of shuttle bus for UKM Bangi campus among students, lecturers, staffs, and visitors. Users of BasKita will be able to view the information and location of any bus on its route with the estimated time of arrival in real-time.

The Vehicle Unit is able to provide the first-hand announcement via this application to provide immediate updates and the notification will be delivered instantly to connected users.

The BasKita application comprises of a few main features, including:
- Real-Time Tracking: Able to view the live location of buses
- Find Nearest Bus Station: Provide suggestion to the nearest bus station with the distance in a 500-meter radius.
- Estimated Time of Arrival: Provide the estimated time of the bus will arrive at the bus stop based on the user's location.
