Beading is perhaps the most used medium for jewelry crafts. You can find beads in any shape or color for your specific jewelry craft. When you are beading you can use fine wire, small elastic or different pieces of metal to create your jewelry crafts. Some of the different things you can do with beading include:

• Necklaces - These can be done in one strand necklaces or a multiple strand necklaces. You can use big beads or smaller beads depending on what you want the finished product to look like.

• Bracelets - these too can be done in one strand or multiple strands. There are also patterns you can find for more intricate jewelry designs for bracelets.

• Earrings - You can make dangled earrings with a few beads hanging. You can also make hoop earrings with the hoop full of beads or just a few beads.

• Rings - You can make rings to fit any finger or toe that you would like. You can also use a mix of big and little beads around your ring.

• Anklets - These can be made about the same way as the bracelets if you choose. You can also use some heavier gauge fine wire to give the anklet some support to wrap around your ankle better.

• Headband - Use beads or jewels and sew them onto some of your plain headbands. YOU can also use iron on gems found in craft stores to add an extra touch to patterned headbands.

• Shirts - Again you can sew on gems or jewels onto any shirt.

• Wine glass charms - These can be made like earrings. You can also find patterns to use for particular designs such as a grape for your wine charm.

• Handbags - You can use wine charms to add to the side or zipper of any purse or handbag.

• Cell phone charms - These little charms can dangle from the cell phones antennae. You can use wine charm patterns or just use a long line of beads that can dangle from your cell phone.

• Beaded tiara - You can use a heavier gauge wire to bend and shape a tiara and add beads for the decoration of the tiara.

• Lampshades - You can decorate plain lampshades with some beads that hang down from the lampshade or use the beads directly on the lampshade for a nice 3 dimensional effect.

• Napkin rings - Decorate your holiday table with napkin rings made of beads and ribbon. These can be made like you do the necklaces or bracelets and then wrap around your cloth napkins. For an added touch you can sew some beads onto the cloth napkins to match your napkin rings.
