Whether you’re a music instructor or student, a parent of a musician, or simply an aficionado looking to enjoy the sweet serenade of your own melodies, there’s something for you here! While designing a music journal app to support your musical journey (and being musicians ourselves), we’ve uncovered the key to becoming a talented musician. It’s consistent practice, regular reflection, and a supportive community.
So, we’re providing you with all the easy-to-use tools you need to track and reflect on your music practice progress in one simple app. Plus, with our integrated social platform, you can connect with friends, instructors, family, and even meet other musicians on a similar journey.
With BeatsNotes, you can reflect tomorrow, or years down the road! Or you can harmoniously support the musicians in your life to manifest their inevitable success.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
Hi there, I’m Winnie! While I’m a data engineer by day, I am a musician at heart. In fact, I’ve been playing piano nearly my entire life. As you can imagine, there have been many fluctuations in my tastes, skills, and motivation over the years. And I know I’m not the only musician to experience this in their lifetime!
One prime example is the impressive differences between Glenn Gould’s recordings of Bach’s Goldberg Variations, recorded when he was 22 and 48. You witness how his interpretations changed between the two pieces that span decades of life experience. Listening to this shift, I yearned to hear what I had played when I was a child because I realized I, too, had likely changed my tune (literally) over the years. Since I couldn’t, I wanted to ensure that my son could listen to his progression, as we can in Gould’s recordings. And so, BeatsNotes was born!
I am eager to get to know you on the app and support each other in our musical journeys.
