BellyMetric

BellyMetric is an app that allows for the evaluation of one's body physique. By simply entering your height, weight, and waist circumference, the app instantly calculates key metrics related to your body shape. Detailed explanations of each metric, as well as links to the original research papers supporting them, are provided, enabling users to delve deeper into the data.

BMI (Body Mass Index): A widely used measure that estimates body fat based on height and weight. It does not account for fat distribution.

ABSI (A Body Shape Index): Adjusts waist circumference for height and BMI to assess abdominal fat and its health risks more accurately.

BRI (Body Roundness Index): Uses height and waist circumference to estimate body shape and predict body fat percentage and health risk.
