Verisk Insurance Solutions has been tracking hail across the United States for more than 10 years using advanced hail detection algorithms. Benchmark-Mobile data is not based on the free NWS storm reports that others use; this is a radar-based algorithm consuming the highest resolution dual polarization radar data available. Benchmark-Mobile gives you the hail history for any location in the continental United States instantly by dropping a pin on the aerial map image of the roof itself. Hail Reports include date and estimated size of hail both at the property and within 5 miles. Hail Maps show hail size and indicate where the hail size changes within the storm region.
