Around 400 works are on display, organized into five thematic groupings: The Birth of the Republic; A New Utopia; The New Woman; The Crisis of Modernity; and Into the Abyss.
The application features audio interviews with the exhibition's curator, Dr. Olaf Peters, and commentary from Renée Price, director of Neue Galerie New York.
