App Store Description

Best Bible verse offers the visually impaired user access to the most emotive parts of the Bible. As a result, it takes the spiritual wellbeing of this group into consideration. The user interface is well laid out and offers striking graphics and functionality to facilitate access for those with visual impairments. The app is designed solely with the spiritual wellbeing of visually impaired people in mind. All of the print is in large format and every verse selected can be listened to audibly. The intuitive interface also allows the user to share verses easily. Something that may be difficult for those experiencing difficulty with their sight.

The user interface sequence is as follows:
1 - Select a category from the 13 categories, dependent on an emotion linked to why the user needs the verse.
2 - This takes the user to a collection of verses based on an emotion that the user is experiencing or conveying (via share facility) to another person. This screen employs vibrant, striking and contrasting verse images because a visually impaired user will recognise an image associated with their favourite verses as opposed to text.
3 – When the user selects one of these verses they are taken to a detailed screen of the verse where the verse is displayed in full (large font) and the user is offered more options regarding what to do with the verse in focus. These options include:
• Sharing to files, photos and a range of communication and social media outlets.
• Navigating quickly back to the home screen again.
• Having the verse spoken to the user via an audible output from the device (particularly useful to those with visual impairments).
4 - The app also publishes a different Daily bible verse and when accessing this the user can access the same options mentioned above. The daily verse is programmed to deliver a notification to the user’s device every day.
