BestSens DOT Companion

The "DOT Companion" app offers a user-friendly interface that allows users to effortlessly set up BestSens DOTs and monitor their measurement data in real-time. This significantly contributes to improving the performance and maintenance of machines such as pumps by detecting and addressing potential issues early.
The app serves as the ideal companion solution for BestSens DOTs, which are compact multisensor nodes designed for machine monitoring. These DOTs are equipped with a variety of sensors, including 3-axis vibration sensors, temperature sensors, and SAW sensors. This extensive sensor array enables precise capture of vibrations, temperature changes, and material surface alterations in machines such as pump bearings and seals. In addition, the DOTs feature Bluetooth LE and an OPC-UA interface for streamlined communication.

The key functions of the "DOT Companion" app include:
Configuration of DOT parameters: Adjustment of various settings for DOT sensors via Bluetooth LE (BLE). This includes configuring the Ethernet interface, fine-tuning measurement parameters, and setting thresholds. These customizations allow users to tailor the DOTs to the specific requirements of their machine monitoring.
Monitoring of measurement data: The app provides a clear display of measurement data captured by the connected BestSens DOTs. Users can quickly assess the machine's condition using a traffic light-style representation for vibrations and temperature.
Event log: The event log is highly versatile and supports various tasks such as performance monitoring, error detection and diagnosis, maintenance planning and predictive maintenance, historical analysis and auditing, decision-making and reporting, as well as incident investigation and forensics.
