App Store Description

The BHECCS Mobile app allows clinicians to have instant access to all relevant guidance, documentation, contacts and basic location information that they may need during the course of their shift.

BHECCS Mobile includes:
- Access to relevant guidance and documentation, including offline/spotty coverage support
- Links to relevant forms and other data
- Regularly updated contact information
- Notifications of relevant incidents/major incidents for BHECCS clinicians
- Basic routing/distance information while on scene
- and more!

The app will evolve as the needs of clinicians are identified.

BHECCS volunteer clinicians are on-call in their free time to provide advanced medical and trauma care to patients who have suffered life-threatening injury or illness in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Activated by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), BHECCS volunteer clinicians respond using blue lights and siren in either their own vehicle from home, or in the dedicated scheme response car. BHECCS volunteers are highly trained pre-hospital clinicians who bring a wealth of experience to every patient in addition to carrying life-saving drugs, equipment and treatment not usually found on an emergency ambulance.
