Why study Greek and Hebrew?

As you know, these two languages were elected by the Holy Spirit to reveal the mysteries of God to his children: The Old Testament being written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek.

We live in a time where authority is under severe attack: and no less the authority God’s Word. God is calling His children back to his Word and his revelation. Nothing in this life is more important than the Word of God. I firmly belief in the absolute power of this Word to teach us His divine truth and wisdom and to guide us toward our heavenly destination.

In our day many of the biblical truths have been watered down to such an extent that many of God’s children are confused. The modern culture in which we live has become so secular that there is no longer something like a divine truth, or absolute authority or someone in control of history. Modern man has become his own norm and it is left to every person to decide for him or herself what is truth and how to act. Man has become a norm unto himself. Everything goes and there is no absolute to reckon with anymore.

It is in this degenerate cultural climate that I received a calling from God to teach the Hebrew and Greek in such a way that it will lead you to a better and deeper understanding of the Word of God. And the better you understand the Word of God, the better you will be able to serve and worship Him. This call to study the Hebrew and Greek of the Bible, is a call to return to the Word of God.

But apart from studying the Hebrew and Greek of the Bible, I will also equip you with a practical knowledge of modern Hebrew and Greek as spoken in Israel and Greece today. This will help you a great deal when you visiting the land of the Bible.

This first course will equip you with the basic knowledge of the grammar of the two languages and the way they express the biblical truths. As an introductory course it will lay a firm foundation to move to an intermediate and then to an advance course. Each course consists of 8 modules. One can only advance to a next level when the previous course has been done successfully.
