BindBox

BindBox is a tool that assists schools and educational institutions with securely storing and sharing digital photos featuring pupils.

There are many considerations required when a school wishes to share photos that contains pupils, via, for example, social media and marketing materials.
Specifically, the parents of pupils featured in photos need to give explicit permission for the school to do so.

Until now, this was a complicated and labour-intensive process.

BindBox now makes it simple. In short, teachers can upload photos to the app, and thereafter tag specific pupils in each photo. Once the photos are uploaded and tagged, the pupils' parents are all individually notified that their child has been tagged in one or more photos.
Visiting the app (either online or via the smartphone app) parents can then review each photo, and thereafter give explicit permission or denial for the photo to be digitally shared by the school.
