BioMedict: Your Data-Driven Health Insights Platform
BioMedict is the first AI-powered platform designed to seamlessly integrate with wearable devices to deliver real-time, objective health scores. It aims to transform subjective health information into objective data points to help clinicians better assess an individual's pain, sleep, activity, and overall mental health. The platform's mission is to enable a deeper understanding of well-being through data-driven insights.
Analyzing Biometric Data
BioMedict employs a unique AI model that analyzes evidence-based pain biomarkers, such as heart rate (HR) and heart rate variability (HRV), collected from smart devices. This analysis generates individualized insights and allows for patient cohorting based on millions of data points.
The platform incorporates a Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuned for health conditions and symptoms, which aids in classifying and interpreting biometric data. BioMedict also utilizes a patent-pending prediction method that integrates and analyzes biometric and health data to forecast pain levels. A key focus is on objective data measurement using biometric triggers, moving beyond traditional subjective self-reporting methods. Additionally, the platform features medical context-based anomaly detection in biometric data, using medical knowledge to identify significant changes that gives additional insight into your health and wellness.
Comprehensive Health Metrics
BioMedict integrates diverse data streams, including passive data from wearable devices (e.g., resting heart rate, HRV, sleep patterns, activity, respiratory rate) and active data from patient input (e.g., self-reported pain levels, sleep quality, exercise routine, and mental health questionnaires). This can also include biometric history data.
The AI-driven platform analyzes a composite index that combines pain, activity, sleep, and mental health metrics to provide a holistic view of an individual's condition. The patient-facing application provides graphical views of pain levels, medication half-life, stress, and wellness trends, enabling individuals to visualize their personal health trends.
Data Collection and Provider Overview
The BioMedict system supports continuous remote monitoring of biometrics. The mobile app collects biometric data from smartwatches and sensors, and captures reported pain levels and medications taken, offering notification capabilities.
For healthcare providers, a remote monitoring and decision support portal allows them to view summaries of biometric data and predicted pain levels. This helps in monitoring patient progress and identifying data outliers. The system also offers risk stratification features based on biometrics, which can help in identifying individuals at potential risk for worsening conditions.
Data Privacy and Accessibility
BioMedict prioritizes data protection through encryption. Identifying data, with the exception of a unique emailID and timestamps, remains on the device and is not transmitted to application servers. All data is stored on encrypted institutional servers accessible only to authorized study personnel, compliant with HIPAA regulations. The system is designed to sync with common wearable devices such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, Whoop, and Oura.
NOTE
BioMedict only reports your heart rate variability, activity, sleep and other metrics tracked by your device. We cannot measure blood pressure or any other vital signs directly. BioMedict is not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult your doctor if you feel physically unwell or if you have any medical questions.
