The Students’ Union Technical Team presents BITS Pilani’s own Marketplace BITSMart.

This App helps facilitate the sales of second-hand purchases in the BITS Pilani Campus.

Buy and sell items locally at your Campus! No more scrolling through various spam messages in WhatsApp to find relevant “Anyone wants to buy XYZ?” messages. Here, you’ll find a large catalog of items to sell and purchase, right at your fingertips. Need anything in your room, books for an upcoming test or a cycle to get around the campus ? We got you covered. BITSMart has everything you need from cycles to used textbooks.

Chats:
Chat with the seller and negotiate prices without leaving the app! BITSMart supports a simple chat system to bridge the gap between the buyer and the seller for better communication. Chat with pre-defined message templates to make the buying and selling process a breeze. The contact details will be shared only after you close a deal. The chats are neatly organized in accordance with whether you are buying or selling a product.

Buying and Selling:
In BITSMart, you can post the items to sell, archive an old post & deactivate the post altogether. A post will have a maximum limit of three images and at least one image is required to post a product.
Search through a large catalog of items, organized neatly under categories of Books, Cycles, Electronics, and more. Filter and Sort by price, category, or condition. Liked a cool bicycle? “Favourite“ it to save it for later. Need to see from whom you bought that table lamp? See all your purchased items neatly in a “Purchased” window. You can also flag inappropriate posts.

BITSMart supports both Light Themes and Dark themes so that users can customize the app according to their needs.
