BITSTAMPS digital collectibles

BITSTAMPS is the first App for collecting entirely digital stamps where uniqueness and ownership are guaranteed thanks to Blockchain technology.

Through the App, each user can purchase the digital stamps as soon as they are issued, being certain of the number of specimens produced and becoming their only certified owner.

Closely mirroring the traditional philatelic collecting model, BITSTAMPS issues collectible digital stamps that themes and areas of interest of its users.

Users can collect stamps from the entire BITSTAMPS collection or follow their passions and complete albums by theme.

BITSTAMPS announces to its users the release of each new, digital stamp, purchasable in the quantities desired until exhaustion.

For each new stamp, BITSTAMPS indicates the date of issue, the number of editions, the price and the sales date.

Once purchased, the stamp is visible in the user's personal album within his profile.

Each digital stamp belongs to a thematic collection. In the "Stamps" section of the App, continuously updated with new entries, users can visualize all the collections. By selecting each collection, the user can check which stamps have been issued, which (s)he already owns and which(s)he is still missing.
Collectible digital stamps can be used to send E-Cards along with a sender’s personal message.
Upon receipt, the digital stamp used to frank the E-Card will become the property of the recipient with transfer of ownership guaranteed by Blockchain certification.

The stamp received will have the status of "used" and will automatically be placed in the recipient's personal collection album, visible both in the personal profile and in the "Stamps" section.
In the "Stamps" section, each user can see his/her updated status of all new and used stamps owned. For each stamp, the user can view the corresponding Blockchain certification, the history of the stamp and all previous changes of ownership.

Once the sales period of each single stamp issued has expired or once the stamp reaches a "sold out"status, users can resell their stamps or purchase others from other collectors thanks to BITSTAMPS’ Marketplace that will be inauguated soon.

Within the Marketplace, collectors will be able to independently start their personal negotiations, establishing the price of the stamps they want to resell, but always with certified transfers of ownership guaranteed by Blockchain technology.
