Black Star Word Search

Black Star Word Search is a trivia and word search puzzle game based on African American history and culture. The game contains thousands of word search puzzles and trivia questions covering a vast array of categories including politics, sports, television, film, literature, history, civil rights, HBCUs, Greek-letter organizations and more. Dozens of new topics are added every month.
Each word search puzzle contains 8 hidden words. Players can select from three distinctive Play Solo modes and a Family/Friends mode.
CLASSIC MODE: In this mode the player is offered six topics from which to choose. Upon selection, a topic-related trivia question will appear. If the player answers the question correctly extra time is awarded to player to solve the word search puzzle will be awarded. As the number of consecutively solved puzzles increases, the player’s level will rise accordingly. As levels increase, the time allotted to solve the puzzle will decrease.
CHILL MODE: In this mode the player can chill while solving the puzzle, there is no timer or trivia questions.
CHALLENGE MODE: This mode is the same as Classic Mode, except the player is only presented one word at a time.
FAMILY & FRIENDS: Players can connect and play matches against family and friends. In a match, both players are presented with the same trivia question and the first player to answer correctly gets to select the match’s topic. The first player to locate all eight words wins the match.
Black Star Word Search offers the ability to create customized avatars with thousands of avatar combinations. Players may select their avatar’s skin tone, hairstyle accessories and backgrounds. Player profiles can be further customized with city, state, a city/national flag and/or Greek-letters.
