Blackjack is also know as 21 or twenty-one is a widely played casino banking game.

Blackjack 21 is a comparing card game between a player and a dealer, meaning players will compete against a dealer but not against other players and is played with one or more decks of 52 cards.

A Blackjack 21 game can be won in the following ways:

* Getting 21 points on the player's first 2 cards which is called a 'blackjack', 'natural' assuming the dealer has not got a blackjack
* Get a score higher than the dealer without exceeding 21
* Allowing the dealer to draw additional cards until his hand exceeds 21

When the game of blackjack 21 starts the player or players are dealt with a two card hand and add together the value of their cards. The Face cards which are kings, queens and jacks are counted as 10 points. The dealer and the player count an ace as 1 point or 11 points, and all other cards are counted according to the numeric value shown on the card. The players after receiving their first two cards, have an option of getting a hit or taking an additional card. The player or the dealer wins by having a score of 21 or by having the higher score that is less than 21. Having a score higher than 21 is going bust or called busting which will result in a loss. The player playing blackjack 21 can win by having any score equal to or less than 21 if the dealer 'busts'

The player can also take the following decisions: Hit, Stand, Double Down and Split

Each Blackjack game has a basic strategy, which is playing a hand of any total value against any dealer's up card which loses the least money to the house in the long run.
