The core gameplay of Blade of the Arcanist revolves around matching and clearing tiles with identical patterns. Below the playing field, there is a slot that can hold up to 7 tiles. Clicking on a tile automatically places it into this slot. When 3 tiles with the same pattern are in the slot, they will be instantly cleared.

- Tip: You have a maximum of 7 moves per round to clear three tiles of the same design! If the slot fills up without matching three tiles, you lose. Every move counts!

- Layered Tiles: Some tiles may have multiple layers. Only after removing the top layer can you select and clear the lower layers.

- Winning Condition: Once no tiles remain on the board, you have successfully completed the level!
