BLAZEbuzzer is a near real-time fire alert system that informs its users of fires which occur in natural surroundings, and close to the vicinity of their preferred location (mobile device location is the default selected location).
Users have the option to select their location from the Settings section of the application. BLAZEbuzzer sends a push notification in case of a nearby fire detected by NASA (FIRMS).
Note: The accuracy of the information provided by BLAZEbuzzer depends on the data feed (NASA-FIRMS).
An active internet connection is required to download the latest data from the BLAZEbuzzer service.
