The new enhanced Bonitas Member App offers you, a convenient way to access and manage your medical aid – quickly and easily. This includes checking your benefits, finding a provider or having a virtual consultation.



It also gives you access to our new digital wellness solution: AMP, which aims to change the health and wellness behaviour of our members and offers you access to great deals and discounts – at no extra cost.



Managing your medical aid is easy


The app offers a simple, intuitive and more personal way to get information about your plan, benefits and your health. You can use it to:


• Consult with a doctor through virtual care
• See the balance of your savings and other benefits, like your preventative care and acute medicine
• Submit your prescription to Pharmacy Direct for chronic medicine delivery
• Use the chat function to talk us and get support from our team
• Find doctors, hospitals and pharmacies on our network easily
• Access and download documents such as tax certificates, monthly statements and plan brochures
• Access your digital membership card, everywhere you go
• Save and access information for emergency contacts
• Update important information for you and everyone on your plan
• Create a medicine list with the medicine scanner and get reminders of when to take your medicine

If you need help with your medical aid, you can chat to one of our skilled agents through the app in real-time. With the chat function you can:


• Get answers to your questions right away
• Get information about bills, benefits, and authorisations
• Follow up on recent claims
• Get help from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays








AMP up your wellness!


AMP is a brand-new section in the app which aims to change the health and wellness behaviour of our members and beneficiaries, guiding you to a healthier you. It’s absolutely free and available to all members and beneficiaries who are 16 years and older. You can use it to:


• Create your own avatar
• Get a health score for yourself and each of your dependants
• Receive nudges to educate and guide you to a healthier lifestyle
• Earn badges (and bragging rights!) for completing health questionnaires or a health risk assessment
• Get access to bespoke eating plans from EatForLife
