What is it about?

One of the key features of Bread is that a tutor from a local academy is able to create invoices for all their hours of tutoring weekly,bi-weekly, or monthly, and send their invoices to the academies in an automated fashion. The invoice includes the number of hours, dates, rate, and total compensation for that pay period. In addition, our app also stores the total earnings a tutor makes in a week, month, and year, so they can keep track of their total income for tax purposes. As we were developing this app, we wanted to expand the scope of our audience, so we created a feature where independent freelancers such as private tutors, photographers, or personal trainers can add new clients on the app, and keep track of all their hours and rates for each client and bill their invoices to each client separately. Our main goal for Bread is to create an easier and more organized way of keeping track of payroll whether our users are independent freelancers or tutors at local academies in Orange County.
