Starter U, by the Brian Hamilton Foundation, is a free course that teaches you everything you need to know about starting, running, and growing a business. Our self-paced course means you get to learn on your schedule.

We incorporate decades of experience from dozens of entrepreneurs and distill it down to the information key to launching and growing a business. Through video instruction, our course covers coming up with an idea, marketing, selling, customer service, and much more.

Throughout the course you will hear from dozens of entrepreneurs who at one point where in the same exact place as you. Learn from their experiences and mistakes.

At the end of it all, you will receive a certification that you can print and add to your LinkedIn page.

An integrated forum and regular discussion topics let you connect with other entrepreneurs who are on the same path to starting their business. Whether it’s questions about the course content or people’s latest productivity hacks, a community of users means you are never alone in your journey.

Through gamification, you will complete with fellow users to rise the leaderboards. The more you engage, the faster you’ll rise. As you progress through the course, you’ll earn badges that track your progress in starting a business.

Our “train-the-trainer” group allows experienced entrepreneurs the ability to be certified to teach the Starter U course to local groups.
