The Master of Hickstead, Douglas Bunn invented Team Chasing in 1974.
Now a hugely popular cross-country equestrian sport with Autumn and Spring seasons. Fast, furious and perhaps not for the faint-hearted, team chasing is an incredible team sport that thrives on adrenaline. When you think of team chasing, you envisage the so-called ‘thrusters’ of the world charging over huge wide hedges at 100 miles an hour!
Each year there are 13 British Team Chasing events culminating in our annual Spring Championship.
Every course is different and while the team chasing rules outline the maximum heights for novice, intermediate and open, the difficulty level can be affected by terrain, course layout and the nature of the fences.
This App will help you find your local Team Chase Event, and see courses and results. We have 13 apps within this one app so each event has a comprehensive information channel for their day.
